Call for Papers

 

On behalf of organizing committee, you are invited to participate in the “2nd International Annual Meeting of Sosyoekonomi Society” to be held in October 28-29, 2016 in Amsterdam – The Netherlands. This meeting will be jointly organized by Hacettepe CMEE (Center for Market Economics and Entrepreneurship) of Hacettepe University and Sosyoekonomi Society.

The main purpose of this meeting is to bring academics, scholars, researchers, educators, professionals and other related groups interested in socio-economic issues in order to present their searches and works in the wide range of social sciences.

The researches should be incorporated into one of the following topics:

· Socio-economic Issues
· Microeconomics
· Macroeconomics
· Public Economics
· Energy Economics
· Labour Economics
· International Economics
· Environmental Economics and Related Issues
· Regional Economics and Regional Development
· Economics and Law
· Law and Business
· Business Administration
· Finance and Banking
· Market Economics and Entrepreneurship
· Tourism Economics and Tourism Management
· Gender, Diversity and Social Issues
· Poverty and Income Distribution
· Health and Education
· Local Government Finance

 

The official language of the meeting is English. All the abstracts should be written in English and the abstract should not exceed 250 words and proposals may cover any topic from the fields of social science. The submitted abstracts and papers will be reviewed and accepted gradually, yet the abstracts should be submitted before August 15, 2016. Acceptance decision notifications will be received by authors immediately after a week of the abstract submission.

The papers will be presented either in English or in Turkish in separated sessions. The authors will choose their presentation language when they are filling the submission form. Other wise it is accepted in English language.

If you experience any doubts about whether your proposal fits in terms of the meeting content, please contact the local organization team for further assistance.

All accepted abstracts will be published in the Proceedings Book. If the author wishes to publish his/her full paper in Sosyoekonomi Journal, the full paper version must be uploaded to the journal web site no later than 30 days after the meeting.

Regular presentations will be limited within 15 minutes, yet it may be extended by moderators up to 20 minutes. It is recommended to make presentation no longer than 15 minutes and let at least 5 minutes for discussions. Please bring your presentation on a USB flash drive. Each presentation room will be equipped with a laptop and a screen for PowerPoint presentations. The laptop will be set up for PowerPoint presentations. However, transparency projectors will not be provided.

Early Registration Fee: 300 Euro (01.02.2016 – 30.06.2016)

Standard Registration Fee: 350 Euro (30.06.2016-15.08.2016)

 

Participants should pay 350 Euros for paper submission and should pay 100 Euros for each additional paper. Not only presenting authors but also co-authors and attendees should pay the registration fee in order to admit the meeting. At least one author must register for each accepted paper in order to be included in the meeting programme. It is not possible to pay the registration fee after the meeting schedule. All sessions and other events are open only to registered participants.

The registration fee covers the following items during the meeting between 28 and 29 October, 2016:

Admission to the Sessions,

Paper Presentation,

Printed copy of the Meeting Program,

Certificate of Oral Presentation or Certificate of Attendance

Proceedings Book,

Coffee Breaks,

Lunches.
